May Goals
After accepting the challenge to blog 31 straight days in May, I thought it would be fitting to share some of my other goals for the month of May!
May is my favorite month for many reasons: things are blooming and gorgeous outside, early crops are ready (strawberries, tomatoes, rhubarb, peas, spinach lettuce…), and it’s my birthday month!
Are you a goals-tracker? I like to write down goals, to-do lists, everything. Usually, I end up writing my lists and goals on small pieces of paper that get misplaced. So, this month, I’m gettin’ social with my list and sharing it here!
Here’s a list of goals I want to accomplish in May:
1. Blog each day (obviously)
2. Plan and take trip (so, so close on this one)
3. Finish all of my planned races (May 12, 19, 26)
4. Pick strawberries (a birthday tradition!)
5. Make kombucha
6. Break ground on the back deck
7. Finish the rock wall in the backyard
8. Attend every Saturday Farmer’s Market in Chestertown
9. Plan at least two boat rides on the pontoon (<--- major perk of working for a college!)
10. Develop fitness instruction goals and plan for the rest of the year
11. Develop goals and plan for writing/blogging for the rest of the year
I have quite a month ahead of me! Between work efforts—rounding up the rest of our fall class, two important training sessions, creating 6 different communication plans, planning summer conference and fall travel schedules—, races (5K, 10K, and 10 mile races this month!), two fitness instruction demos, and keeping up with the backyard homestead, I’ll be one busy cupcake.
But I’ll always create expected to-dos and goals, even during such a busy month. It’s important to keep moving forward!
Do you keep track of monthly goals? What are some of your goals for this month/year?
Hey Aundra,
You’ve got some great goals happening. Good luck for the WordCount Blogathon. Is it your first attempt?
Cheers, Caylie
