Fitness Friday #35: Online Training
I’m in the middle of my very first online training group program! I wanted to offer something while I left town for a 13-day admissions recruiting trip.
So, I thought we could all meet up virtually for class. This is the first time I’m trying this type of fitness approach, so I’m relying on my guinea pig group to share their thoughts upon my return.
Here’s what I offered for the group:
- support via a private facebook group
- 20 minute workout videos, choreographed, filmed, and uploaded by yours truly
- shorter workout videos with varying focuses
- recipe ideas
- energy and enthusiasm
Each day, I’ve posted workout videos and ideas. Most of my workouts are similar to the PiYo and Insanity Live classes, working on strength and flexibility.
Want to see a sneak peek? Here’s one of the shorter videos I shared with the group:
My hope is to offer another one of these groups, for when I travel, or even when I’m not traveling — it’s a way to engage a different audience who can’t physically come take a class with me in Chestertown, or a way for some people who DO come to classes to get a little extra workout.
Would you try virtual group training? Leave me your thoughts!
I’d love to sign up for your virtual classes!
