Coffee Talk Tuesday #25
Welcome to the weekly chat where I spill my guts and try not to spill my coffee. That would be very sad.
If we were having coffee this week, I’d tell you that I had a weekend full of events! On Friday night, we tried a new-to-us restaurant, Knoxie’s, courtesy of a gift card given to us. It was 50 shades of delicious, and I’m still dreaming about that cheese board and honey and those biscuits… On Saturday, I got to see my dear Newlie, in from Oklahoma with her twin babies! So precious. On Sunday, I attended a lovely backyard wedding for my SIL. What a weekend!
Johnny and I joined forces to make the wedding cake – he bakes, I decorate. We’re a great team! I’m pretty stinkin’ happy with the results (bonus – it’s funfetti).
If we were having coffee this week, I’d rejoice in the shortness of the work week! It’s time for a break, y’all. The College is closed Wednesday-Friday this week, and I’m super excited for a change of scenery and pace.
If we were having coffee this week, I’d tell you that I’m ready for the next couple of weeks of adventures — NYC travel, GILMORE GIRLS, going to a ballet, GILMORE GIRLS, travel to Charlotte, a new fitness class, and GILMORE GIRLS. ‘Tis the season for joy and new adventures!
Short update for a ‘short week.’ Happy Thanksgiving to you!
