Coffee Talk Tuesday #71

Happy Tuesday! Let’s grab a cup and settle for Coffee Talk Tuesday.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that it’s official ‘full’ week 1 of my position as Project Coordinator for Next Generation Scholars! There are five of us, in different counties. I’m working in Kent County. Basically, I’ll be working with 7-9 graders who are part of the program to help them build a path for success post-high school, whether that means college or career. I’m there to build awareness of how high school preparation, college coursework completion, and career goals connect. It’s fun and rewarding to share opportunities!

It’s also part-time, which is perfect for my schedule and goals. I want to keep teaching as much as I can while building my fitness admin and marketing portfolio. I love it – I’m open to all possibilities and there’s an everlasting supply of learning opportunities!

Speaking of learning opportunities, if we were having coffee together today, I’d share that I’m SUPER excited about my Virtual HIIT group. This is my third virtual group, and I think my favorite one to create so far. I love HIIT workouts and all the awesome benefits: increased strength, energy, and endurance, all squeezed into a short workout!  I’m so glad to have a great group to start this journey.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I definitely indulged in self-care this weekend. Is it really indulging if it’s necessary? Food for thought. Anyway, I treated myself to a haircut and style sesh (that totally put me happily to sleep, ha!), a spa pedicure, a marathon viewing of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (omg so good), and a deliciously hot yoga class. I’m still feeling it in my core from class! I love that.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’ve finally unveiled my winter/spring schedule. Check it out here. I love being able to switch it up and try new things. I’m looking forward to the schedule starting next week.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’m feeling all sorts of adventurous and have so many fun workshops and upcoming trips in the works. Traveling rejuvenates me, and I can’t wait for all the adventures that await.

What’s up in your world this week?
