Coffee Talk Tuesday #107
Tuesday – a time for coffee. Grab a cup and let’s get chattin’.
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’m having one of those mega to-do list weeks. I don’t know that I’ve had a “normal” week recently — even to the point that I’m questioning what is a normal week? With my gig-based/contract work, I spend a little time with this job, a little at that one, a little at that one. Husband and I joke about my inability to work “just one job.” Even as a college student, I was known in the HR office as the “student with all the stipends” since I’d work with different departments for projects. I like to bounce!
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I taught a ton of Buti classes last week and loved it. I love, love, love sharing this format with others. I taught a beginner workshop on Saturday, and loved seeing the looks of joy and accomplishment on their faces. It’s wild for me to teach, since the moves are NOT pre-choreographed. We have certain movements and a methodology to follow as instructors, but we go completely based on the music and energy of the room. So, sometimes I’ll throw in high-intensity moves like this, sometimes we’ll go deep into the movements like this, sometimes it’s a combination. It all depends on the students. It’s your class – YOU ARE BUTI. Come thrive and unveil this feminine energy with me. I have a special Boo-ti Halloween class this week, and teach Wednesday nights at 5:30 at Foundations on Kent Island.
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’m working on a fun project, and need your help! If you are a member of AquaFit, or if you know someone who is a member – can you reach out to me? Email me at fitwithaundra@gmail.com. AF is celebrating 10 years in 2019 and I’m working on a special project to help promote it. Thanks!
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I posted a fun question on fb yesterday – what is your best bad excuse for not working out? There’s some pretty funny answers on there — what would you answer? Share your best bad excuse here!
Off to turn to-dos into ta-das! Have a great week!
