Coffee Talk Tuesday #125
It’s Tuesday! Why does it feel like a Monday? DST strikes again! Grab your cup and let’s start talkin’.
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that we’re a week into the 21-day Spring into You Wellness challenge. Today’s prompt is to prioritize your day – create 3 things to accomplish. Do you ever feel like there is so. much. to do.? And maybe you freeze a little, because which task do you even attempt first? Enter: the priority list. I like to name THREE things to do today (life hack alert). Why three? Three is magical. I feel accomplished when I reflect on my day and can name three things. Here’s the best part: YOU get to name the three items, and it should suit your mood and day. Today, I’m balancing between three jobs (like, every day), so my priorities circle those items. One of my top items for today is this post. Such a feeling of accomplishment when I hit that ‘publish’ button!
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you come JOIN us in the Spring into You wellness challenge group. It’s free, there are AMAZING individuals who are sharing some pretty freakin’ awesome things. It’s inspiring, uplifting, and you need this in your life. Join our group here.
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I have a bit of a teaching respite this week. The College is on spring break, and I teach 6 classes there each week. Normally, I get anxious about the idea of having to cancel classes, but I’m learning to embrace it. This is a chance to renew, re-focus (hey Mercury in retrograde), and take a breather. I’m spending my time trying new classes! I have mapped out my week and am sharing my “Fit Adventures” on instagram. On the outline this week: OTF (an evening class, I always go in the morning!), advanced yoga, kickboxing, teaching Buti (covering an a.m. class Thursday!!), LIIT/HIIT yoga, and Strength/Toning. I’m still teaching 4 classes this week, too. So, we’ll call it a semi-teaching break.
On that note, if we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’m also hosting a virtual fitness session that will be on-going. It’s a new approach – usually my virtual fitness sessions are for a specific amount of time (2, 3, 6 weeks), but I wanted to have a session that is on-going and features each of the different styles I teach. This is perfect for someone who finds themselves short on time, unable to come to class, for someone new to my classes, or for someone who wants to try a new style, but wants to test it out first. It’s just $10 to join, and you’ll be in the group forever! Paypal link here, group request here.
It’s a busy and full-of-fitness-and-wellness week! I look forward to seeing you virtually, in classes, or for coffee.
