If we were having coffee together this week, I’d squee for a moment about the Royal Wedding. I did not watch it, but I diligently followed instagram updates via Emily Giffin, who is probably the biggest fan of the Royal Family…ever? I love her commentary and sheer delight for all things royal. You know what I loved most about the Royal Wedding? That it made us pause and appreciate love and delight for a moment. Seriously – there’s always something terrible happening and it was nice to take a break and just enjoy something on the news for once. Did you watch it or follow updates? What are your thoughts on the loveliness of the day?

If we were having coffee together this week, I’d tell you that it’s my last Coffee Talk Tuesday post as a 31-year-old! This time next week, I’ll be feelin’ 32. I’ve really enjoyed the start of my 30s. While every day is an opportunity for a new learning experience, I feel really comfortable and confident with what I want and who I am — and so much less pressure of societal norms. Pretty excited for the coming year!

If we were having coffee together this week, I’d tell you that we officially booked our big summer trip, and I can’t wait! We’re starting in Vegas, checking out the Hoover Dam, and then driving to the Grand Canyon. This is our first time to Arizona, and I feel the desert air calling my name! I’m super pumped for the whole trip and can’t wait for a week away with the husband. On a related note, I’d love your recommendations for a great local kennel for Ms. Cora to run and play and vacation from the hooman parents for a week! Please share!

If we were having coffee together this week, I’d tell you that I’ve started creating a “feelin’ 32” list of things I’d like to do/try/achieve this year, and I can’t wait to share it with you! Perhaps I’ll do a special birthday post next week. Stay tuned! You are more likely to achieve your goals when you share them, so I’ll be practicing what I preach!
