Coffee Talk Tuesday #90

It’s time! Grab your cup and let’s have a Coffee Talk Tuesday.

If we were having coffee together this week, I’d say hey from the beach! I’m here for a quick work retreat. I left early this morning and arrived just in time to see this gorgeous beach sunrise. It’s my goal in life to witness as many sunrises as I can. And sunrises from the beach or the tops of mountains are my favorite.

Speaking of sunrises, if we were having coffee together this week, I’d tell you that I’m so excited to see a sunrise over the Grand Canyon this summer! We try to visit at least one National Park each year, and we chose Grand Canyon this year. Can’t wait for our trip!

If we were having coffee together this week, I’d tell you that it’s almost the start of our summer season for work–a summer full of data and planning. If you see me a coffee shop this summer, please offer me a cookie or a high five break from the craziness.

If we were having coffee together this week, I’d tell you that it’s almost the end of my first 6-week summer fitness schedule! We will have a two-week break (except for the Saturday class) and then dive into the second 6-week summer fitness block. This also means that I’ll be getting closer to Buti and barre certifications! And then when to teach all of it…

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I have a HARD decision to make this summer. I fell into this awesome job after quitting a job I grew to dislike, and it worked so well because it allowed me to fully immerse myself into my new cert studies while also still teaching. I might have the opportunity to turn this new job into something full time, but that will totally change my schedule and options for teaching. It might be a good time to try something new, but I’m still feeling uncertain about it. It will definitely still allow flexibility (and flex time which is such a foreign concept to me, since we definitely did not get to flex our time at my last job). So, I’ll be mulling this over as I meditate and travel these next few weeks.

Back to the beach! See you next time.
