Fitness Friday #38: PiYo Flow
I love teaching PiYo Live classes. I also love challenging myself to create new PiYo-inspired flows, to use for my own practice.
This week, I presented one of my favorite practice flows to my PiYo Live class. It felt like my two worlds colliding! I love putting together unique flows and combinations of my favorite moves.
This flow has some powerful combinations – moving high lunges, Warrior III with flight arms, connector to 3-point balance, downward-facing dog to wide plank, and one of my favorites, downward-facing dog to Wild Thing.
It’s packed with moves – I broke it down a little more in class, but this video shows the full flow on one side. In my own practice, I’ll do this 2-4 times on each side, pausing in between with some rock-and-roll planks.
