Scenes from the Homestead
Things keep looking up at the homestead. In the three years since we’ve started cultivating a forest garden, we’ve learned so much {and we’re continuing to learn, too}.
For starters, I’ve learned that gardening simply means “growing what you want where you want it.” At the same time, even though I am a gardener, I also know that life finds a way without my help or encouragement. {sometimes, we call these “weeds”}
It’s no secret that we’re working toward not gardening, just letting life find a way in the backyard homestead. Whatever we call it, the daily scenes we find on the homestead are breathtaking.
Here are a few scenes from the spring garden. I’m working on a fun video tour, so stay tuned for that!
