Strawberry Spinach Smoothie
I simply cannot keep this to myself. Usually, on M/W/F, I make a green monster smoothie for lunch, adding spinach, banana, protein powder, and milk.
I’m normally pressed for time since I teach a lunchtime class, and a smoothie can be made the night before to save time.
For today’s smoothie, I decided to add some Greek yogurt and bananas, to kick it up a notch. The result? So delicious! The Greek yogurt adds tartness to an otherwise pretty sweet smoothie. The strawberries add a summery taste, and it all blends together so well.
The spinach and strawberries combined make pale pink, so the color may be a little off-putting, but just put it in a dark-colored glass and you’ll never know the difference. All of my smoothie recipes make two, so find someone awesome to share a treat.
